After a disastrous encounter with the local Chevy dealer, I had my truck towed here to investigate an apparent steering pump failure. The owner was fast, but thorough, and was able to fix it in about 24 hours. What truly set him apart was that he was completely honest: he didn't treat me like an idiot, or waste my time, and he didn't overcharge me. He took me out to my truck and showed me the action items he had found that need fixing soon, explaining them in plain (but not patronizing) language. The experience was so good, I actually gave him a TIP! Any work I can't do myself will be done by him. NOTE: the local post office has all their trucks worked on at Neighborhood; a couple were in the bays getting routine inspections while I was there. That should tell you something.
Travis is a great mechanic and good guy. I have had several vehicles in his shop over the last few years. The one time I had a major mechanical failure of my vehicles turbo he quoted me a little high compared to some other calls around. I took it to another mechanic (Fast Freddy's) and my vehicle has never been the same. Needless to say Travis has had a good year fixing the other mechanics mistakes. I will never go anywhere else again.
